Privacy notice
Who is responsible
The controller of any personal information collected through this site is Richard Cantrell-Coles, an independent partner of the business named in the legal notice, trading from Trading address, required by law, Richard to supply. You can reach him at Richard’s email or Richard’s number.
Simply Button Solutions builds and maintains this site and acts as a processor on his instructions.
What this site collects, and what it does not
This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics. It loads no fonts, scripts, images or embeds from anyone else’s servers, so no third party learns that you visited. That is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to ask you about.
Two things collect information, and only if you use them:
- The assistant. What you type is sent to the company whose AI model answers it, so that it can answer. The conversation is not stored on this site. A single flag is kept in your browser’s session storage recording that you have seen the notice before the conversation starts; it disappears when you close the tab.
- Leaving your details. If you give a name and a way to reach you, that goes to Richard so he can reply.
Why he is allowed to hold it
Legitimate interests: you asked to be contacted about becoming a partner, and replying to you is the obvious consequence. If you have asked and then change your mind, say so and it stops.
How long
Enquiry details are kept while there is a live conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted. Retention period: Richard to set
Who else sees it
Nobody, other than the AI model provider for the words you type into the assistant, and Simply Button Solutions in the course of maintaining the site. Your details are not sold, not shared with the business named in the legal notice for marketing, and not passed to any other partner.
Your rights
You can ask what is held, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to it being used. Ask at Richard’s email. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
This notice must be checked against what the live site actually does before go-live, and the address, email and retention period filled in.
